MID-ATLANTIC GRAY/DUCTILE IRON FOUNDRY The owner of a Mid-Atlantic USA gray/ductile iron foundry is seeking strategic options for his foundry. The foundry produces castings to 5,000 pounds in gray iron and ductile iron. The average casting weight is in excess of 600 pounds. A full range of iron alloys including Austempered ductile iron are produced. Major customers are compressors, power transmission, maritime and refrigeration. ALUMINUM AND ZINC DIECASTING Ten-year-old company with continuous growth every year. Miniature zinc, conventional zinc and aluminum HPDC. Seven (7) traditional zinc ranging from 50 to 330 tons. Five (5) miniature zinc machines ranging from 5 to 8 tons. Seven cold chamber HPDC machines ranging from 350 to 1200 tons. Extensive CNC machining capabilities.
